There are some pretty big changes not mentioned in the at a glance there. so i thought i would start a thread to let eveyone know about it.
1. You will no longer get last club money from youth pulls that dont play matches. The scale for last club money now is...
0 matches 0%
1 matches 0.25%
2 matches 0.5%
3 matches 1.0%
4 matches 1.5%
5 matches 2.0%
7 matches 2.5%
10 matches 3.0%
20 matches 3.5%
40 matches 4.0%
Good news is that someone that played on your team for more than 20 matches, you can actually get more than the previous 3%. but i hate not getting previous club money for youth pulls :(
1. Here are the exact costs for transfers based on weeks owned...
0 days 14%
1 days 12,45%
2 days 11,95%
3 days 11,59%
4 days 11,3%
5 days 11,05%
6 days 10,83%
1 weeks 10,62%
2 weeks 9,55%
3 weeks 8,76%
4 weeks 8,12%
5 weeks 7,57%
6 weeks 7,09%
7 weeks 6,65%
8 weeks 6,24%
9 weeks 5,87%
10 weeks 5,52%
11 weeks 5,19%
12 weeks 4,88%
13 weeks 4,58%
14 weeks 4,3%
15 weeks 4,03%
16 weeks 4%
3. Technical players now have a better chance at scoring in pentatly contests. This sux because i love head defenders. Now more technical players are probably going to be trained more and will take advantage of my head defenders.
4. this is supposedly just barely changed, but keepers affect on defense is a little less and defenders is a little more. great for me (a defender trainer) for obvious reasons.

in regards to number 1. yes i know that you dont get last club money from your sale of a youth pull. i mean from the next sale of the youth player.

I wonder about the youth pulls. Perhaps there will be an automatic exemption for them, like in the ownership chart. It might not be mentioned. I know this week's YP of mine is showing 91% to me instead of 90%, but I can't even guess at a resale.

yeah, and i didnt even think about youth squad vs days owned. i just assumed that way an exemption. but who knows? you probably listed your youth pull before the changes went into affect, so that might be why we arent see changes also. anyone list their youth pull after these changes last night?

From the HT 6.6 text...
Note: Youth pulls and "original players" (from when you got your team first) are considered to have belonged to your team "forever", so for them you always get the maximum possible fee of 4%.
I'd assume this will apply to the new pulls though...

I'm hoping about the 'forever' but since the ownership chart is based on games played how will the code read?
And I listed my YP this morning, just before coming over here to read folks' reactions to 6.6. So he was listed under the new rules.

While it addresses complaints about the overimportance of keepers, it certainly isn't good for game balance as far as training program selection goes.

yep, one more season to cash in and then it's scoring training for me

Sadly, I need two more season, which means two more trainees, to get where I want my keeper to be before switching to scoring. Life sucks sometimes, and so do the HT-Gods.

I'm in more or less the same boat. My plan is, pick up a 17- or 18- USA player (if it's a 17, I'll pull him, 'cause I'm not paying through the nose for a 17-solid), train him for two or three seasons, then switch training. The schedule would have advanced two seasons if I didn't promote (I'd have trained my magnificent another season, sold my outstanding at magnificent+, and switched to scoring or winger), but I want to spend some money so I can be competitive now, which means turning over my primary trainee.

I'm sacrificing my team to get my main trainee, who is currently formidable +2 at 18, to magnificent by start of season 24, and super natural by the end of it. No stamina or set pieces training for me! Damn good thing my starting MF's and one of my backups has excellent stamina, just sucks that neither of my wingers do and I can't afford to replace either of them. I'm STRONGLY considering just switching to 343 and losing a winger, least I might score against that damn defense that held me to a tie despite a 3 level difference in MF at the end of season 22.
I'll still be playing 3 IM's, so losing one wing attack in favor of a stronger central attack is appealing, especially considering I outclass nearly my entire series. With my stadium going to 30k soon in DVI, I will maybe actually make money, miracles be praised!
