This is probably directed more at scripters than anyone...

I'm wondering if there is a file for MP leagues to pull all data from, stats, etc. I know that in the past VPI's utility had to do it from box scores. Is this still the way it has to be done, or is there another method?

I see there are a few files that may have more data in them, but I do not know what to edit them with. So, is there a central file where career stats, etc are stored? If so, which one and what do I need to use to edit it?

Yeah, and the career#.2003, career#.2004 files for past seasons...

Yeah.. those... what are they? What data is in them and what should I be using to read them?

They are binary data files, they can be read with a hex editor, but you have to reverse-engineer the data structure. Most data is stored in two-byte chunks, however.
I have most of the FOF4 data structure in the *.fga file mapped in an Excel file, and most structures would be similar to FOF2k4, but it's likely to be some differences as well.
