Friggin Matt Morris, figures - MR. Homerun giver.
I'm glad for Griffey, but Matty Mo has been terrible this year.

They're playing the Cards, who are currently in first...

The ump in the Giants-Sox game deserves to be fired. What an awful call, and it led directly to the grandslam. Awful Awfulness of a call.

Schmidt was amazing today.
Yes, that call at 3rd base was terrible. The final should have been 3-0, not 4-0 ;)

Comeon, if it's first and 2nd, with two outs, you pitch a LOT differently then bases loaded and one out.

True enough. I was just teasing you a bit. I guess I am feeling pretty good with the Giants closing in on first place. :)

With Schimdt pitching that good, the Sox's had no chance. Thats Schimdt's second 1 hitter of the year. I would like to see a no-no but a couple of 1 hitters are very nice.

dola, I;m watching the Dodgers-Yankees game right now. Damn Yank's aren't doing the job and I have to listen to Tommy L mouth off.

Griffey smiffey, Thome lit it up big time today, just missed a cycle by a triple (but I wouldn;t hold my breath on him getting one of them). I heard it seemed like he was primed for a big game as he was hitting monster blasts in pregame BP.
Actually, all sorts of excitement at the park today with Rollins' getting a stand-up inside the park homerun. I don't think I've seen many of them, especially when it wasn't one of those 'outfielder dives for a tough shallow blooper and it rolls to the fence after he just misses it'. Oddly enough, I felt a little cheated by there not being a play at the plate. A close play called safe for the inside the parker is one of the more exciting plays in baseball, instead it felt like a super-charged stand up double.
