When Manning finally missed a throw, Gannon stormed to the sideline and yelled at the gawkers, "There! What do you think of that throw?"
"That's part of the training of Rich Gannon," Gruden said later. "You try to get to him a little bit, try to thicken that skin with a little levity once in a while."
Gannon, to his credit, got a chuckle out of the whole thing, although it's doubtful his skin has gotten any thicker.
