looks very pretty, lots of info...
Could be worth it not only to show off to others, but only for the stats in there...

I think it would be a cool recruiting tool too.
Is this a glossed up version of HT Arena?

I am very tempted to give it a go for the six months subscription. May wait a little, since they seem to be having load problems. It seems that they had a "My Hattrick" announcement up that they had to pull down because they were not able to absorb all the hits coming at once...
I'm thinking about it, if only for the nice stats you can get...

[whining]So HT has the server space to host thousands of webpages, but doesn't have the capacity to use our supporter stats?[/whining over]
That said, this seems really nice. Very low maintenance it seems like, which is ideal for me, at least.

i just noticed that it only keeps stats on players that are still on your squad. i really dont like that. if i want to see who my alltime leading scorer is, it doesnt look like i could get that info from the clubhouse, right? or am i missing something?

i think this thing has generated enough interest that someone should take one for the team and give it a shot. now if only we had a way to figure out who would do it...highest post count anyone....

I'm thinking of trying it when I renew my supporter subscription in about 3 weeks...

What's funny is that I had emailed the dev folks at Hattrick about creating something very similar to what they did, but since I didn't want to release it to many people, I couldn't qualify for CHPP. Instead I was told I could copy and paste stuff from Hattrick all I wanted, so instead of using the XML I just copied and pasted data to create my own website.
I think this has a couple of advantages:
1> It's not on their slow server.
2> I can customize it all I want.
3> I can show or hide whatever I want.
4> I can track progress of players via my own MySQL database.
And during the off-season I was able to completely revamp my site to hopefully make it a little nicer! If you want to visit it and tell me what you think, go here! (http://www.webbsm.org)

yeah, i would love to beable to hit my own db to pull stats from :) how about you give me some server space ;)
seriously though, another thing i just noticed is it lists all your players skill levels. i dont know that i want other people in my division going to my clubhouse and seeing that i have 3 formidable midfielders with poor secondaries or awesome secondaries. or that the guy i purchased for a big upcoming match was a excellent goal.
it seems like they give too little info in some places (like information on past players) and too much info in others (like skill levels of your players)

from what I have read, you can show what you want to show, meaning you can set what level of "privacy" you want to keep about your team...
I agree that not everybody would want to show their whole team, and was thinking I didn't want to do that, until realized I did just that by starting a dynasty :D

Actually, I have lots of MySQL databases left ;)
Part of what I was trying to avoid with my site was information. I only wanted people to see what they could see through Hattrick, I certainly didn't want to give them any advantages! I didn't want to list stars, player stats, player goals, formations, etc. I think that makes beating me a little too easy! :D

See, I thought that way for a little while, then I figured that as long as you don't say in advance what exact formation you will play, they can only try to get better players than you to beat you.
I mean, I usually play a symmetrical 3-5-2, but I switch sides depending on what I see in my opponent. They could know I have two brilliant midfielders, what are they gonna do about it? I mean, yeah they could counter-attack me, but they could take that decision simply by averaging my midfield rating and compare it to theirs...
An opponent knows that Lars Andersson scored 23 league goals last season, so what?!? Goals are randomly given to players and you can't man-mark a player...
You have a very good point in that you can control what you want to show, and your site isn't hosted by anybody else, I'm not saying otherwise. I'm just saying that I kind of stopped worrying about other people knowing what my players are...
