Looks like this game was released on the 15th of June...

I haven't had a chance to download the demo or what not, and I'm curious as to whether or not anyone else here is playing this? The reviews seem mixed, at least, according to IGN. GameSpot, however, seems to have rated it a bit higher. Still - I figure folks who've experienced the gameplay can best describe their interest in this game.

Any opinions?

Any word on this one yet? This is another that I was considering but wanted to hear more about. It will ultimately come down to just one of my consider list at some point and I want it to be worth the money.

Two buddies of mine up in Long Beach and I were thinking about picking this game up. I first heard about it from some disgruntled assclown on the FarCry forums, talking up the game a few months ago, and asked one of my buddies to check it out.

He downloaded the demo, said it's quite a few people...and that you die very easily in the game. I think some folks called it BF1942, pre-patches and the like, with potential. Still, I think it's personal preference...he noticed some crazy lag (not sure if it's just in need of netcode cleanup or what not), and after a good half an hour, just wasn't "into" the game and all.

I haven't thought about it much since then.

Save your money and stay away!

Yeah, I played the demo quite a bit and came away unimpressed.
