CM 03/04 questions

I'm home after knee surgery and have been playing the CM 03/04 demo and having a lot of fun (more than I have with previous versions). I have two questions for the CM crowd?

1) When does the demo end? It says X-mas, but I'm still playing in Jan.

2) Is 03/04 available via download? If yes - is there a problem with applying patches to the download version (I seem to remember this being a problem in the past).

You're right in that it is suppose to end around christmas. Maybe it has something to do with the league you chose to play in, hence a different schedule. http://dynamic2.gamespy.com/%7Efof/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif

FWIW, although there's no downloadable version, I had outstanding success (yet again) with ordering from gogamer.com -- 2nd day shipping option got it from California to Georgia in time for a great gaming weekend.

Re: Demo Length;

It's actually 6 months; if your league's start date is later than the default, or something, it will run a little longer.

Thanks for the help. I have one more question - I can't seem to unselect "full screen" as an option in the game options menu (it gives some message about my system non supporting it. What are the requirements for de-selecting full screen? And if I could de-select it, would I be playing in a window (which I would prefer)?

Also,

I've been playing CM4, and while I like it, some of the little annoying things are starting to bug me (no transfer activity, strikers scoring all the goals ...)...

What are the new things in CM 03/04? Do they fix the above mentioned problems? IYO, is the upgrade from v4 to v03/04 worth it?

1) by being in 1152*864 or above you'd be supporting the windowed mode

2) else you can do the following:

right –click on your CM desktop icon

click properties

select the “shortcut” tab at the top

go to where it says “target” and type in the following:

"somewhere on your HD\CM 03-04\cm0304.exe" -small_screen -windowed
