I as going to bust out in rhyme and song and realized, I got no soul.

Anyways, whats up with the market.

Currently, I have a 20 yr old excellent forward up for starting bid of 100K, he end in just under 16 hours, and not one bid.

I have a high solid, older MF with Experience that allows him to equal that of a Excellent PM. He is a little high in requested price, but I am still shocked they have no bids.

I know they both have bad form, but form changes.

So, has anyone noticed this, is it happening a lot now with the new zones in place that people wait till towards the end of the transfers to bid?

Well, yeah, people usually like to wait, you know, be slackers about it.

By the by, what's the passing on that forward?

With the market compressed how it is players that aren't very special have plenty of similar guys ahead of them on the transfer list. The choice of bidding on a player 16 hours away vs one 2 hours away isn't a difficult one.

Though, honestly, Dennis, I am surprised. I looked up your guy and then I looked for other excellents out there on the TL. Comparable players have starting bids anywhere from 300-600k. I'll be keeping an eye on him...his passing sucks, but he'd be a nice b-teamer for me and backup in case of injury.

Yeah his passing sucks, but Again, he is dirt cheap right now.

I see where rick is coming from, but I guess I am one of the only ones that look into future transfers, and bid on them, cause I am not around my machine 24/7 (although it appears it at times)

People *are* waiting more, though. I had a Formidable/passable forward (scoring/passing) on the market starting at $1.25, and I didn't get a bid on him until 3 hours before he sold. He then got bid on 15 times before selling for $1.6. Same with a passable keeper. Started at 50k. About 2 hours before he sold, going for 55k. Ended up 20 or so bids later, $124k.
