Good, maybe I can pick my demo back up. It kind of went out of my radar. :)

Likewise. I was fooling around with the demo until my copy arrived but some of the lingering bugs made me glad I didn't start a serious career.

Someone posted a rookie making $25 million and the Senators having a budget of $136 million. Meanwhile, stars are becoming staff or being waived or easily picked up by trade.

It might take a couple more patches though until that stuff is fixed.

Mid-August? Man...

Well, fortunately I have a great CM 03/04 career kicking with the Plymouth Argyle. Between that and NCAA 2005, I should be able to weather the storm.

imho its best to ensure that patches are as well tested as possible before releasing them ... we're working feverishly on the patch and will continue to listen to feedback from people and incorporating as many tweaks as possible in the time we've set ourselves.

Means more trades, better variations, more emphasis on team "modes" (rebuilding, win now) etc. As for free agency, there are also a lot of tweaks and tunings on how players re-sign, test the market, and especially what kind of money they look for. Anything in specific you wanted to know about ?

Anything in specific you wanted to know about ?No, I think that covers it. Good to hear. Can I install the patch on my demo version at any point in the season?

The standard line is that patches will work at any point in your career but to get "the full effect" you have to start a new career.

I've never found out what "the full effect" actually means so I don't worry about it anymore. ;)
