Been loosing supporters and cant figure out why. I have not lost a lueague game this season. Record is 3-0-1. 1st place. Only game I lost was 4th round cup game. I also carry 10 spokespersons. My only thought is that I have to many foreign players on my team. Only 2 out of 21 players are from USA. Anyone else have any ideas?

i have never heard of foriegn players hurting supporters. i do know that version 6.6 messed around with the suppporter moods and made some pretty descent size changes. i dont remember exactly what changed, but i think getting shut out at home hurts a ton more than it used to. if your cup loss was a home shut out, that might explain it some. but that does seem pretty extreme on your constant supporter losses.

Cup loss was a 7-1 defeat at home. I would have hoped the fans would have gotten over that one by now. Followed that loss up with a 3-2 home league win.

7-1 is a pretty descent sized defeat at home. and a 3-2 win is pretty darn close. i think the new code takes the size of the defeat/win into account much more. as well as where it happened.
i agree, you would think that the supporters would be over it by now. but i think hattrick 6.6 is a lot touchier. maybe email one of the GM's or HT's?

you lost by alot which meant you went to -12
Then a close league win made it go to -2 which is a huge improvement.
Then since you were out of the Cup and played a friendly the system saw what they gave you after the league match (-2) and gave it to you again.
Your next win should put you back in the positives. Personally I wouldn't complain about a 10 supporter turn around after a 3-2 win

You lost a home game to a team in the same division - both D.V, even if he is higher ranked. And your team lost significantly. You were lucky to lose only 12 supporters. You were already tied for first so you beat a team below you in the standing. As Kevin said, a 10 supporter turn around after a 3-2 win at home isn't bad.

That'll teach me to win 8 games in a row (losing only once in 16 matches), and then lose 4-1 in the cup away from home.........

Sounds like I better enjoy D VI while it lasts lol. I won the first round of the cup against another D VI, won the second match against a D IV and then lost 0-8 at home against a D II. And after the loss.... I gained 6 supporters! Lol sounds like that will be gone any season heh.

As if that's not bad enough...
7/8/2004 You recruited a new coach at the cost of 94 600 US$.
7/9/2004 The team has lost training for the week due the incomprehensible actions of the club manager.
7/16/2004 The team has lost training for the week due the incomprehensible actions of the club manager.
Then things get strange...
Sponsors: delirious
Supporter Club: 428 members
Supporters: irritated
How does that work? How can the sponsors be delirious (6 of 8) while supports are irritated (2 of 8)???
Another problem I am having is that my players form seems to be dropping constantly.
I am a horrible manager, I think...what am I doing wrong??

1. Supporters don't like losing streaks. You just won one, so if you keep that up, your supporters should start coming back. More importantly, supporters hate when you get shutout at home.
2. You lost training on the 9th because in you ran bad formations like a 2-4-4 in league play, a formation that is 'illegal' so to speak. I can't see why you would have also lost it on the 16th. You may have too many assistants or something like that.
3. Sponsors react more to your spokespersons than your fan club does. Your fan club mostly cares about you winning, especially at home.
4. Form is random. There is a method by which it is calculated and can be found in the HT Rules(I think). Make sure to track your players form to find out if this is really happening. If you don't want to track it yourself, there are a host of HT manager/assistant manager programs available to do that for you. One big reason that form could be dropping is if you are training stamina. Form WILL continually drop when you train that.
Hope this helps.

Things that should help form are: making sure your players get at least one game a week, having as many assistants as you can afford, having the best-skilled coach you can afford.

The coach is the problem, I don't think I bought the right one when I could afford it...
For a noob, what is the best that we can buy that is still affordable and functions well in a new system?

The best cheap coach is a passable coach with poor leadership for a hair under $80 000.
