Just going on the record. I notice that they finally switched over from player value in dollars to TSI. I have to say this is stupid and I like the old way much better.

I agree, but all you have to do is put 2 zeros on the end and it's exactly the same as the assessed value would be.

That's all the newbies have to do is take away 2 Zeros and they have TSI.

I think this was one of the most moronic changes ever and their reasoning behind it was weak as hell. They will likely either A) add a switch like they did for ratings or B) tell us you're SOL and learn to deal with it.

I think its a conspiracy by the European Union to exploit the USA public school system and their consistant low scores in standardized math testing. They are afraid of our U-20 and National Teams and want to destroy our American training programs because they know we are unable to do multiplication.
Hattrick 6.7 will have a new feature that will somehow exploit the metric system against us!
Oops... I forgot to take my pills this morning, sorry :)

i thinks its pretty safe to say that about half of 6.6 sucked. The new ratings are retarded and i'll never use them, and TSI is pretty dam stupied also. Plus the new 'Fan Mood' thing is a joke. Why the hell should my opponents last cup game have anything to do with how many of MY fans come to MY home league game?
And why if i win 367o6873922 games in a row, but finally happen to lose a game on the road 2-0, would my fans all the sudden hate me and not show up to my next game??? Whoever thought this up should be beatin repeatedly with a large stick.

I would also like to add that, at least from watching the wife's matches, midfield is still as important as ever. I recently watched her offense beat someone's defensive ratings by 12 levels, beat their offensive ratings with her defense by 2 levels, but lost midfield 55%/45% and lost 3-2. Its just stupid that you can win every phase of a match but midfield by 10% and have no shot of winning on a consistant basis.
Also, if a team ever ties me, or plays me close when I beat them in NSI by over 50 points because they press. I'm going to lose it.

I pulled a draw this week against an opponent with 30 points higher (161 vs 131).
He beat me in MF and DF....I whipped his ass on Offense. However, I pulled the draw. He is upset...I am not.

But we all know how big a part DF plays in games. ;)

Beginning of season and closer to the end of season when people stock up for either stretch run or load up for the Qualification games are going to fetch you better price since people are in their buy stage.

But that's nitpicking.
I think she had ridiculously bad luck that she didn't get any attack attempts, since any successful attempt at all probably would have resulted in a score given the the drastic differences between her team's offenses versus their defenses.
I don't think the intent for 6.6 was to make midfield an equal to attack or defenses. Their wordings:Less random in attack/defense
We've slightly reduced the influence of random when the match engine determines whether a certain chance becomes a goal or not. The practical effect of this is that attack and defense ratings becomes slightly more important than before, relative to the midfield ratings. What I get from that is the fact that, if you do manage to create an attack then your chances of scoring will now be less random before and be more dependent upon offensive ratings versus defensive ratings. This implies to me that, in the old system, so long as you can create an attack opportunity via midfield then any offense can score on a given defense since it's random. This gives credence to me as to how and why defenses were getting screwed (more so) previously. Also, if a team ever ties me, or plays me close when I beat them in NSI by over 50 points because they press. I'm going to lose it.But isn't that the point of pressing?

I think the idea is that midfield is still very very important. If the other team has possession much more than you, it seems to me that your scoring opps go down. Last week in the cup, I won possession at 55% and lost 0-2. His keeper was 9 stars or so, and he totally shut me down because my scorers weren't so good. I had the possession, but still lost, so I think the midfield change is altering the game a bit.

i agree.... my last 2 games i've been shutdown my good defenses.
The cup game i lost 2-1 dispite 63% possession in ther first half and 64% possession in the second half.
The league game i tied 1-1 with 71% possession in the first half and 69% possession in the second half.

I understand that it wasn't thier intent, and I don't think they should be equal. I've just seen some odd thing with just about all her matches this season. She has a solid defense and by far the best offense in her series. However, her midfield is currently only 3rd best (I think, not sure), and sits in 6th place right now. With a decent midfield and the attack ratings she puts up, she shouldn't struggle to score goals.
But isn't that the point of pressing?
This was just me bitching for the sake of bitching. A team pressing me and pulling a tie cost me my series last season and the same team would have pulled a tie this season if I hadn't scored a couple of late goals. Understand the point of pressing, just wanted to release some frustration.

With a decent midfield and the attack ratings she puts up, she shouldn't struggle to score goals.I kinda think it was lame that Gummibear (IV.46 alum) managed to put up 3 on her team with the pathetic offense they offered that game. Although they did have huge midfield on the Flying Buffalo which kind of gives them many more chances. With Vaughan's dismissal (damn, that dude is a card-magnet), possession went all to hell in the second half and I can *sort* of see how Real86 equalised on them.
I thought the MindCrush game was the major screw job for the Flying Buffalo. Possessions were too darn close in the MindCrush game for the Flying Buffalo to have taken a 2-0 loss and not have gotten a full attack chance (the single one to Neagu was a counter-attack). That one was lame. To a smaller extent, the Patadura game was a little bit of one but maybe not as much. Their 58% possession in the first half seems fairly drastic, which would explain why they built their lead then and the Buffalo made their comeback in the second half. But a 58-to-55 change seems minimal to me.
I don't understand why the Slew game and the Delaware Dragons game were so close, though. The Buffalo had possession in both games and drastically better offenses.
How come the Buffalo doesn't play Attack in Middle? With a consistently solid central attack, it would make more sense to try to gear more attacks in that direction than to leave it up to chance. Also, don't forget to move the weaker wingback to the side with the centreback since they get support there. De Oliviera, for example, should have switched side with Sunesson in the MindCrush game. I think the team really needs another strong inner midfielder and a strong wingback for the naked side (or, of course, my favourite: an offensive centreback so Dutruc can move to the weak-side wingback). I just think the team has had bad luck thus far this season. I can't see it continuing with the kind of ratings they put up, though. This was just me bitching for the sake of bitching. A team pressing me and pulling a tie cost me my series last season and the same team would have pulled a tie this season if I hadn't scored a couple of late goals.
