what does it really do, besides show respect? I'm not being sarcastic or anything, I'm just curious. I got supporter and I chose to 'support' St Louis Saints and also my RL friends team. I know 'support' them, but I was curious what this does for them other then just show some teams support them, or if this is it. If thats all, then thats fine too! I'm just curious :)

first off, thanks for supporting me :)

the only real benefits of supporting someone that i have seen is that its easier to keep track of all your supported teams matches and scores. your supporter page shows all their last match scores.
also, you see when they get online and release a press announcemt in your news section while you are logged in.

other than that, some people see it like a competition to see how many supporters they can get.

Ahhh I see. Thanks for the info. I just was curious if it influenced like your fan club or anything. Still cool though :)

no there are no in game advantages to being supported or supporting anyone. that would go against the whole idea of hattrick being at an equal level for people who pay money to play and those who dont.
obviously purchasing supporter makes hattrick life easier with bookmarking and such, but you gain no "advantages"

Yeah I didnt think that people should get advantages, I just didnt know if there were such things. Lol I wasn't saying like "Ahhh crap, I was really hoping I would get two free players for getting supporter" or anything like that. That would wreck the idea of the game really being free and fair. I just didn't know is all.
