Does anyone have a coach who is on their "A" team every week?

My best forward just popped to excellent experience and has inad. leadership so would be cheap (about $600k) to turn into a solid coach.

Of course, he's still my best forward (not saying all that much, though) and would still be playing. SO, does being the coach cause a loss of ratings/stars for the player part of him? Does it adversely effect form at all? I know the rules say he can never go up in training, but I don't train forwards and he's way too old, anyway.

Thanks.

My current coach was a fixture/starter at defense for me many weeks after becoming my coach, and I had not seen any drop in performance. Reason why he isn't anymore is that he is a solid defender with solid experience, and I bought two excellents and an outstanding when he went into a monstruous form dip. Other than that form dip and the fact he isn't in my plans for the future, he's as good as he was when he was not my coach...

Despite my defense being made of possible future coaches it's likely that I won't make them into my own. Mainly because when that happens their resale value drops to zero (can't sell coaches). That can be more then nominal cash being missed out on.

should you happen to have a player coach and he gets injured would that effect your team in any way (other than the loss of the player)

No, it won't affect how well he trains your players or any of that

Sad to say, my coach starts for me on my A-Team.

Björn O. Österner (1428063)
35 years, solid form, healthy
I speak Svenska!

A solid trainer who is neither attack nor defense minded
A controversial person who is fiery and infamous.
Has formidable experience and passable leadership abilities.

Stamina: excellent Goaltending: disastrous
Playmaking: weak Passing: weak
Winger: wretched Defending: passable
Scoring: weak Set Pieces: weak

3.5 stars last four matches. When he breaks, I have enough cash--and will soon have more than enough cash to replace him with an oustanding defender.
