What kind of Call is that??? Jays vs. Yankees

Just watching the Jays game, and the home plate umpire just made an absolutely horrible call!

The Jays starting pitcher, Sean Douglass, was pitching to Flaherty. It is a 5-3 game, with a runner on 3rd. Douglass has a 1-2 count, and his fastball goes inside a little much, hitting Flaherty on the knee. Flaherty just drops the bat and runs to first. No malice intended, no hard feelings in the early innings between the teams, and a close game. What does the umpire do? He tosses Douglass!!!

I don't know what the Hell he was thinking?!?

I know, Douglass didnt hit him on purpose, he just cant pitch very well...Terrible call....

They also traded Phelps, which killed me, cuz i loved him.....Just a horrible season for the Jays

Are you kidding? Douglass sucks and he was getting hammered. Steinbrenner and the Yankees were probably more pissed than anyone.

Why would Douglass intentionally hit a .150 hitter.The umpy must think of these things.
