View Full Version : FOF Hall of Fame Weirdness?

I was wondering if this was a bug, or if it's just weird.

It's now the offseason of 2012 (started in 2004), and I don't have anyone in the Hall of Fame. I thought after 5 years (so 2009), people would start being inducted?

Does anyone know anything about this?

The veterans you start with that retire after a couple of years don't build up enough in stats to get into the Hall Of Fame. You have to wait until players play so they can build up stats until they get into the HoF. At least, I think that's how it works in FOF2k4.

In one career(2004 start) I had no players go into the hall until 2019

I am in 2012 and have only had one player go in. But if you are saying that it takes stats to build up, how come the one guy I have in there only played 3 seasons? There are some that have played 6-7 seasons with great stats who aren't in there. There should be an option like after the 10th season of starting your career, an email pops up, and you get to vote three players who go to the Hall of Fame (at season end), then when the next season starts, an email sent to you noting which players received the appropriate percentage and who will be going in to the HOF.

I think it's possible to manipulate the original player file to add hall of fame points to a player so they can get in, for example jerry rice or emmitt smith who both retire somewhat quickly into the game.

I thought after a career starts, you can't alter the player file?

Sorry, you have to do it before the game starts if you want players to enter in sooner.
