appearantly I'm a power hungry mod that is out of control...
"*ouch* T00 much time on someone's hands. Made a post about the match as I just got in after kickoff and longed for some match banter as Hades was knocking at my door (too hot to live) and someone who should actually truly be a bit mod - closed my thread, as there was already a match thread in progress.
keep pulling that loose thread on my old HT sweater - how long will there still be interest in a pile of knit-picked old yarn?
perhaps Sears will wise up and make a new power tool in time for Christmas.. "BZZZZZZ Buy the newest tool on the market CONTROL, for those who don't seem to get enough"
*heh* Ah well"

me... she started a week 11 match thread after one was already created. One of the Mod guidelines in to keep that kind of stuff (youth pulls, training, matches) to one post so you don't clutter up the forum. I guess she felt because she opened it that it wouldn't count since she's everyone's friend.
I dunno, the only person that I know that thinks I'm a power hungry mod is targetpractice, but I don't mind him. I guess I found out today that others think so as well. Either that or they are jumping on the hr bandwagon.
I'm not overly worried about it, I talked to a GM about it (just to get an opinion from a neutral party) and they thought that hollyrose post was a bit immature.

I don't think you're a power hungry mod, I just think you should relax on a couple things. You've closed a lot of threads just saying "pointless thread." Can't you just move it to non-HT or something? If people are enjoying the thread then why close it?
the only person that I know that thinks I'm a power hungry mod is targetpractice,
I guess my cousin forgot about me.
Man, I didn't get mentioned by lytic on the HT conference:(

I don't fully agree with her tone, but they do kind of have a point. The USA conf isn't particularly active (quick check shows 4 day old posts are still on the front page) so I don't think a little off-topic or multi-thread creation needs to be regulated so strictly. Especially if there is active discussion still going on.
When the forums pick up (Nats manager election time, HT-changes/drama, etc) then yea... by all means, go by the book. But *some* of the moderation feels to people like getting pulled over for going 10mph over the speed limit when there aren't even any other cars in sight. The cop isn't doing anything wrong... it's just kind of a pain in the ass, and letting it slide wouldn't hurt anyone.

I posted this..
Read this 3 times and it still doesn't make much sense.
And she told me to read my guestbook because you had signed it, that's why it didn't make sense to me.
I had seen the previous thread that was closed but didn't understand her anger, the post had totally gone off it's original topic and to her game how could she be mad about that?

I'm just messing with you TP. ;)
You were right I remember closing one post that I probably could have moved to non-HT fine. You yelled at me and I agreed. I remember closing another post you didn't agree with, but there was some tention going on and I didn't want to escalate to something that people would have to get punished for. I'm not perfect, but of all posts I was quite surprised to see her complain about that one being closed. I'm with hiccup on this one.
(my apologies to vex and cousin.)

She's in my series but never posts in her press announcements. Has a decently talented team. Anyways, don't know much about her or if I've even messaged her before.

Hollyrose preceded AE as the USA's guestbook junky.

She also used 5-3-2 with 2 IMs in division III, before there was counter-attack or pressing. And kicked my 3-5-2 ass with it.
I wonder if she got a new job or something, she doesn't seem nearly as active as she used to be.
Hollyrose preceded AE as the USA's guestbook junky. This is very true.
