Just curious as to what players you all have drafted and then had made you cry a tear (partially because he was that great and partially because you felt emotion over a player in a simmed reality).
My pick is QB Chris Hanson of the Green Bay Packers. Drafted in 2007 spanning a 15 year career Hanson was able to throw for over 51000 yards, score 363 TDS and retire with a QB rating of 94.6. He also leads my FOF universe (currently in year 2033) with a record of 186-61 and winning 5 championships. When he was elected into the Hall of Fame it was a 100% unanimous decision.
My question is what players have you personally drafted that have led your team to greatness and made you proud you drafted them (even though they are completely fictional).
It makes me laugh that I am as proud of this made of QB but I am curious if any of you have a player like this. Let me know.

I had a player in baseball Mogul who went something like 350-14. There was a bug I think and he lost only3 games after his 3rd season ever. His ERA was sick too

I've never had a really great player that I remember, but my I did have a guy whom i drafted in the expansion draft in 2K1 and he played with me some 15 years in LA and then when I took over Philly he came with me and played there 5 seasons and finaly when I switched to Arizona he came with me as well, all in all I think he played 22 years.
He was good in his prime but never a real stud.

I need to post the Marduez brothers in my league. They are numbers 1 and 2 in career receptions, receiving yards, and one leads in career receiving TDs. Will post the stuff when I get home.

It's stuff like this that I love about the game. It may not have that interaction that CM has but when I have 2 guys who are both 4 year players who both played at Rutgers at the same time, I can sort of create my own immersion, it's swank.

OK, so the guy may not be a fictional player, but here are his stats:
rec yds avg. TD
Darren Mardeusz 743 10974 14.7 78 2-time 1st team WR
Casey Mardeusz 729 10398 14.3 49 3-time 1st team WR/2-time 2nd team WR
Darren apparently is a original FOF player file player. However, Casy came in during the first draft and followed in his brothers footsteps. Unfortunately, he did not play for me, but for the Bungles.
Each of these two players has over 50 catches more than the next closest WR. In addition, Darren has nearly 20 more TD receptions over his closest competition. However, both of these stars may be eclipsed by this young man. Darren is also #3 all time in PR yardage.
Dwayne Davidson was taken with pick 29 of the 1st round of the 2007 draft. He was the 2007 OROY, and in 6 seasons has posted these career numbers
rec. yards avg YAC TD
512 7720 15.0 1429 61
However, check out his numbers from last year:
133 1947 14.6 393 15
He set single season records for receptions, yardage, and TDs.
He has also been a 2-time 2nd team WR, and a 1st team WR, in only 6 years. The Mardeusz brothers have put their numbers up over 10 and 11 years. I mention these three because I seldom see absolute stud WRs in my careers, and these three were all in one! Darren Mardeusz and Dewayne Davidson were together on my team for 5 seasons (Mardeusz wanted a fortune and I let him walk last season, prior to Davidson's amazing season), and they still put up great stats! Actually, if not for Davidson, Mardeusz would probably have even more end of the year hardware. Finally, in 2008, Darren was a 1st team WR, and Davidson made the 2nd team.
