It would be cool to be a borg.

I wonder though how long this MMOPRH (whatever it's called) craze lasts. It seems that from reading other people's experiences they get burned out on them.

Geez, 2007. I'm totally underwhelmed.

I'm the world's biggest ST fan and even I'm totally underwhelmed. 2007? By then we might not even be using COMPUTERS because they'll be implanted in the brains of all the newborn babies. That's how far away this seems. Now, the LOTR MMORPG, what's up with that, has anyone heard?

Sounds interesting...but I wonder how it will play. The Star Trek universe isn't exactly what I'd call MMORPG material. I wonder what there will be to do in it (hopefully not the same ol' kill 30 small rats to be able to to kill 300 larger-but-still-small rats)

I disagree. You could be a small pirate trying to raid ships. I'm sure they will make some way you can be a trader, or smuggle things. And on top of all that you could be the federation or the Romulons(sp?) and maybe team up to fight each other. And you could also maybe team up to go on "missons" kinda like an episode on tv. That would be how I would go about it(doubt that is how it will really work), and like that I think it makes for a good MMORPG, but that might just be me.

Like all MMORPGs they give a date but it will never be released in that time. Expect to see it in 2009 if at all.

In all honesty, everytime I see that acronym, I always think: "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers". Don't know why...erg..! :o
