NMSU football players suspended indefinitely (http://www.borderlandnews.com/stories/sports/todaysstories/20040907-165724.shtml)
LAS CRUCES -- Two New Mexico State University football players have been suspended from the team indefinitely.
The announcement comes after starting tailback Tony Joseph and defensive end Christopher Sneed were indicted on felony forgery charges for allegedly using counterfeit $20 bills around Las Cruces.
The two initially were suspended for the team's Sept. 4 season opener against the Arkansas Razorbacks in Fayetteville, Ark.
On Monday, New Mexico State University Athletic Director Brian Faison made the suspensions indefinite, citing interviews with student athletes and a review of information available to the department.
Friggin' Aggies... :D
However, word out of New Mexico is that the charges will be dropped since the city of Las Cruces can't produce 12 people who either know what a $20 actually looks like, or would be able to spot a counterfeit one.
