Hotmail server problems?

I have not been able to access my Hotmail account for the past two days due to an "account temporarily unavailable" screen which comes up everytime I log in. Is anyone else experiencing similar problems?

Hmm....this could be bad...I've tried to access my account from both Firefox and IE and have received the same error message. The message says the problem is not specific to my account, but it "will be taken care of shortly" has also been up there for two days as well. :(

I've been emailing SaaP Online members this week and have had a number of emails returned that were sent to hotmail. No real explanation, just a message saying the email wasn't delivered.

It's never a reliable system but at the moment it's particularly bad.

I have this happen off and on, usually seems to happen around 2-4pm Eastern time on weekdays. Haven't had it happen recently though.

It's 8:59 PM EST and I finally logged into Hotmail for the first time in 2 1/2 days. Boy am I glad that I'm switching to Gmail. What a disaster. Still no explanation from Hotmail as to why this happened either. :mad:
