What range do you use for the cap increase from year to year?

What range do you use for the cap increase from year to year?
I keep it on default.

I either use default, or no increase. If I'm doing a dynasty where I quick-sim 20 years before I start actively playing, I have a hard time keeping track of what is a good or bad salary at the hyper inflated levels 30 years from now.
