I would pick the Jags, but I'm not completely sold on them yet.
I pick Seattle.

A team coming off a playoff year with everyone back can't really be considered a sleeper, can they? They were 10-6 last year.

I have an odd feeling that Cincinnati is playoff bound...

Well I'm not personally sold on them, but if New Orleans ever gets its act together it could make a strong run. But that's been the case for several years now...

That is correct.
I'll pick the Jags then, but not completely sold on them.
Another team could be the Redskins, I would love to see Brunell come back to Jax, and play his former team. :)

Their division looks to be tough, but I think that I'll go with Houston. I won't be that shocked if they end up as a 10-6 wildcard team.

Good call, I should of mentioned them.

Atlanta has a good chance if Vick stays healthy but that's a very tough division.
The Skins are team with a lot of talent and a reputation for under-achieving. That won't happen under Gibbs. I think the Eagles are overrated, Dallas doesn't have the skill position players to make a great run and the Giants (without Collins) could be in real trouble.
I'm a biased fan, but I think the Steelers could really surprise. Their DBs are much more athletic, their OL healthier and they have some real playmakers in their skill positions - Deuce Staley, Plexico Burress, Hines Ward - and they're looked pretty good during the preseason. They could be a very dangerous team in what could be another wide-open division.

My pick would be the Steelers. The Bills could also be a major surprise. That defense is very, very good. If the offense gives them anything this year, they could win 10 games and go to the playoffs.

I may be biased a little but I think MIAMI will make the playoffs. Even though no one thinks so. All the off season stuff is going to pull them together and they will surprise some teams.

I know. It's been tough being a Dolphins fan with the stupid front office. And then the Ricky fiasco and then the Boston injury. I think it would be great if they prove everyone wrong and make the playoffs after all this.

Bledsoe, shmedsoe. They are ok but I can't see them blowing their projected wins out of the water.
They drew awful road games. At Seattle, Oakland, Baltimore and Cincy.

how is Minnesota a sleeper team?
If Detroit can go 3-0 into the bye they have a decent shot at surprising us with a 9-7 to 10-6 record.
But we all know that they will not do that.. :)

The New England Patriots will turn some heads this year. Look for them to go deep into the playoffs.

Steelers in the AFC and the Lions in the NFC. I think the Steelers can and will return to the playoffs and I think Detroit will finish with 7 to 9 wins. They have a lot of young weapons.

Oakland. 4-12 last season, loaded up at several positions during the offseason, plus two games vs. San Diego. They are going to the playoffs. (Though not sure if technically they are a "sleeper" team since everyone knows they loaded up at some positions...but they were 4-12 last year...)

I have the same feeling about the Steelers except that Turnover Tommy is still the QB and the DB's are still sketchy. The injury to Simmons hurts as well. I think they could make the playoffs, but everything has to break just right. I think the Bills is a much better pick and they are my sleeper team.

Jacksonville.
Byron Leftwich has thumb injury that he will play through, but this kind of injury lingers on throughout the season, so that could play a role on whether Jacksonville finishes with a good record. Of course, this injury was released after I made him my backup quarterback in the FOFC keeper league.

Wow Vince, I'm surprised you don't have some ridiculous comment about how the 9ers will be a sleeper. Maybe you've finally come around and realized how much they are gonna suck

As far as a sleeper, Oakland baby. I think we will be better than the Chiefs this year and win the West.
