OT: Millenium (TV series) DVD

Was a big fan of this show, in fact was my favorite when it was on over the x-files. This was one of the darkest shows ever made for network TV. Anyhow I picked up the season 1 DVD set and watching made me realize why I really liked it so much. Lance Henriksen is John Black, he was the perfect actor for the part.

Season 3 kind of strayed from the show's original path, probably stemming from the fact that the writers who originally started jumped ship.

I really wish that show had continued with a 4th season but it was not to be thanks to Fox putting it on the Friday timeslot of doom.

Anywhoo, just seeing if there were any other Millenium fans here and your thoughts. Pick up the DVD set if you haven't already, it's not x-files price.

I also loved this serie. Here, in Spain, we dont know how it ended, and it makes me angry.

I still cant believe how expensive xfiles boxes are. Totally overpriced. As long as its on tv all the time, i have no need to buy it.

I agree about the xfiles set.

Also wanted to add that the Millenium set does has some special features, including commentary from Chris Carter and a couple of specials regarding the show and how profilers in the real world do their work. It's not just bare bones.

Never saw Millenium, but then again I never watched X Files either when it was on. My wife are slowly making our way through the second season now. We watched a marathon session flying to and from Alaska last week.
