Limiting myself to the great class of former Amsterdam Admirals quarterbacks, who still play in the NFL (sorry Jim Kubiak, Clint "cut again" Stoerner, Spergon "can't" Wynn, David Rivers, David Priestley and any other quarterback I forgot to mention.)

Kurt Warner keeps Eli Manning on the bench all season.

Jay Fiedler finally leads the Dolphins to a winning record in December.

Jake Delhomme leads the Panthers to back-to-back Super Bowl appearances.

Shaun Hill makes his first pass attempt in the NFL for the Minnesota Vikings.

Houston Texans will be over .500 this year.

Ken Dorsey ends up starting in San Fran.
I actually really like Dorsey...but I really hope this isn't the case.

The Lions will not win the Super Bowl.

Neither will the 49ers.

Or the Dolphins.

The Super Bowl:

New York Giants over the San Diego Chargers.

OK, not really...

The 49ers finish above .500

The Pats win 14 games.

Philly fans turn on T.O. after he drops his 10th pass in the first 3 games. He ends up with less than 5 TD's

Joe Gibbs resigns before the season is over.
The Lions will go into week 15 with a chance to make the playoffs.

I always thought it would be Michael Irvin. :(

Wait! He's still up in the booth. I will call my shot (oops, pun not intended) that he will go Last Boy Scout from all the way up into the booth down onto the field.

SI

I wanted to say that too...but looking at the schedule, the 49ers have to win EVERY ONE of the following games -

Atlanta
@ New Orleans
Arizona
@ New York Jets
@ Chicago
@ Tampa Bay
Miami
@ Arizona
Washington

To get nine wins. The other 7 games:

@ Seattle
St. Louis
Seattle
Carolina
@ St. Louis
Buffalo
@ New England

I realistically can't see the 49ers winning ANY of these games. And I think the 49ers will also lose to Washington, Miami and the Saints. So I think they'll end up 6-10.

Sorry for the threadjack, now back to your regularly scheduled surprises.

Priest Holmes will break his own touchdown record.

I don't have any bold predictions, but that won't stop me from rating yours.

Julius Jones will be starting over Eddie George before the first half of the season is over.

Vinny Testaverde will only miss four games due to injury.

The Cowboys will make the playoffs again this season.
Nicely done. I think I concur on all points.

The Patriots will lose in the 1st round of the playoffs. They'll get there as a wildcard team. Buffalo will win the AFC East.

Oakland wins the AFC West.

Philadelphia will lose in the 1st round of the playoffs as well.

Green Bay goes to the Super Bowl

This one I'm not so sure about. Although I think you can put the Philadelphia loss in the bank.

All very plausible and bold. I think this is how this game is supposed to be played.

The 49ers finish with a better record than 5-11.

The Seattle Seahawks make the Super Bowl.

Houston finishes one game out of the playoffs.

Yeah. I don't think so.

Houston Texans will be over .500 this year.

Seahawks not only win the NFC West, but win a home playoff game.

Raven's 7th game of the season sees the realization of the EA cover jinx on Ray Lewis.

It appears I only agree with every other post in this thread, nicely done.

Seattle wins the Super Bowl over Indy.

Pats are a big disappointment.

Ken Dorsey ends up starting in San Fran.

Thomas Jones rushes for 1,300 yards.

David Terrel removes his 'bust' label.

This season's low round find at RB is Micheal Turner.

The trend continues, but these are bold predictions.

The Vikings will be the last team to lose a game this season.

The Chargers will be the last team to win one.

I love the 49ers, but they look like a 6-10 team from here.

Brett Favre will get his packers into the playoffs and win his last super bowl, despite a problematic D
The Saints will sneak into the playoffs and lose to the Packers in the NFC championship game(or sooner if they play them sooner)
The Titans will beat the Pats sometime in the AFC playoffs, make it to the Super Bowl, and lose to the Packers.
Kevin Jones will be offensive rookie of the year
Courtney Watson will be defensive rookie of the year
Dwight Freeny will lead the NFL in sacks
Peyton Manning will be the NFL MVP, but the colts will falter early in the playoffs
Carson Palmer will have a huge year, as will several of the Bengals WRs

Yea, I just felt like calling myself an idiot for my homeristic leap of faith in the hopeless Saints. I wouldn't say Palmer has had a huge year, although the Bengals WR corps has looked pretty impressive as a group; Johnson, Houshmenzadah(no way i spelled that right without looking), and Washington have looked pretty damn good at times. Palmer still has a year or two to go before he can most effectively read and react to NFL Ds.
