Why Does The Board Stop At 1AM?

Skydog or RyanS, why does the board slow to a crawl come 1AM ish? It is getting annoying as all heck to try and browse or post. Is it a known problem, is there a solution on the horizon?

I assume gamespy are running a backup or a virus scan at an offpeak time.

Thats a very odd idea for an "off peak" time tho. It would be nice if it updated around 3 or 4, when there are really no people on here. At 1am, there are a decent amount of people still on board.

Especially when you consider the people bithcing about problems at 1AM, are East Coasters. On the West Coast you find the board shut down at 10 o'clock. I typically only notice on Weekends, as that is the only time I surf at that time of day.
