Ok, I pulled my guy.. and he's a passable defender with solid passing. I currently have nothing but solid and excellent on defense... but I like this new guy.

Would you sell one of the solids to accomodate this new guy? Or just sell the new guy?

OK. I don't know what to do here... I train wingers. I want all my trainees from now on to have at least passable PM, to fit in with training PM in the season after next. But trainees with excellent passing are rarer than hen's teeth. Is it dumb to sell this guy just because he doesn't fit with the plan?

I agree with One_to7, train him and sell him right before you switch to PM. That way, he'll still be young enough that somebody may keep on training him and you'll have the right to receive even more mother club money, since he'll have played a bunch of games for your team...
