woah, it's been a while since I've been in Montreal :) I'd guess going up the tower of the Olympic Stadium might be worth it :)
Here's a website I just found:
http://www.montreal.com/tourism/topatts.html
The Casino de Montréal (http://www.casino-de-montreal.com/) is probably a must see, as they have plenty of shows and stuff like that, and around the stadium, if you go there, there could be the Biodôme (http://www2.ville.montreal.qc.ca/biodome/ebdm2.htm), or the Botanical Gardens (http://www2.ville.montreal.qc.ca/jardin/en/menu.htm), depending on if you care about such stuff. A walk on Mount Royal is probably very nice too.
Hope this is of any help. If you ever stop by Quebec City, then I could be a much more help, would even pay the beer, and a poutine ;)

Damn, should have covered the food aspect of things ;)
While I've never been there, I've heard good things about Lesters (http://www.delilesters.com/web/frameset.cfm?section=AboutUs&destination=AboutUs/_an/AboutUs.cfm). I've seen them mentionned a few times in TV reports about what to do in Montreal.

Oh, don't know about clubs with an "s", but there's one very well known, called "Chez Paré"... :)
Can't find a website though... :(

Believe it or not...she has offered to go with me.....but she would frown on me going with my buddies.Needless to say,i havent been to one in 10 years:(
I've got all i can handle at home :D
Froggy..we may head to Q-city for a day or 2...i will let you know,so i can take you up on that beer....and of course poutine:)
The walk on Mont Royal is a nice thing to do. The place is a relax one and you can see the town from a nice view point.
And I want you to buy me a poutine !
Last (and only) time I went to Quebec (city), the guy in the restaurant offered us the "Ricard" as he hadn't seen French guys from the south for a long time !
These guys are nice !

Froggy..we may head to Q-city for a day or 2...i will let you know,so i can take you up on that beer....and of course poutine:)Dude, let me know and if the family schedule permits it, it'll be my pleasure to pay you that beer, and a trip to Chez Ashton (http://travel.yahoo.com/p-travelguide-2803953-chez_ashton_quebec-i), where they serve about the best poutine there is :)
You've not asked about it yet, but if you come to visit Quebec City, a few things to visit would have to include La Citadelle de Québec (http://www.lacitadelle.qc.ca/), where you can follow a guided tour of the fortress that served as the entrance to Quebec City all the way back to the 1700s...
Also a must see is the Chateau Frontenac (http://www.fairmont.com/frontenac/), one of the most photographed chateau in the world. I live on the South Shore of the St Lawrence river and I could not recommend (edit: could not recommend enough) a trip back and forth on the ferry that connects the two shores, expecially at night, when you can see the whole Old Québec and the Chateau all lighted up.

They also offer guided tours of the Chateau and I'm sure the lady would appreciate it very much.
My wife and I visited La Citadelle and the Chateau when a couple of friends from Utah came to visit us about 2 years ago, that was great.
Finally, a walk around Old Québec (http://www.nationalgeographic.com/destinations/Quebec_City/A_Walk_Around_Old_Quebec.html) is quite a must whenever somebody stops by Quebec City :)

oh, and I forgot to say that the changing of the guard at the Citadelle is something you want to see, pretty cool. I'm not sure if they do it in the Fall too though...

Schwartz's! Bar none. It's on St. Laurent (90% sure).
Just don't ask for lettuce--they don't have any. "Just smoked meat, rye bread and diet coke," the waiter said. Saw that happen to a tourist once. :-)

Don't forget to stop at the Tim Horton's on the corner of Maple Leaf and Moosejaw. They have the best coffee east of Regina...
