Formation question?

I know you will ask, so here you go. I am training scoreing, but I don't think my midfield is good enough to run 3-4-3 on Sundays so I run 3-5-2. I have both formations trained up as high as possible, do you think this is a good idea until I upgrade my midfield?

Midfield
3-4-3
Midfield: wreched (very low)

3-5-2
Midfield: wreched (very high)

i think you have those backwards. you mean you have a 3-4-3 with a disastrous very high and a 3-5-2 with a wretched very low, correct?

How hard is your series? What place do you think you'd finish in if you just played 3-4-3 in your league games?

It's not like you have to worry about relegating, so if you can still finish well enough using 3-4-3, do it. The extra trainee will help a LOT as far as upgrading your team goes, in the long run.

You're pulling a wing, not a defender, to play 3-4-3, right?

i think that training is the most important thing you can do to upgrade your team, especially if you're stuck in a VI. i think the extra trainee slot would help you out more than the few sublevels of midfield right now. youll never have any money to upgrade that midfield is you cant sell trainees. id go with the 3-4-3 for now.

Right now I am in 5th in my series, but there is a good chance I will finish 6th.

its a tough call. i think i would go with the extra training slot in your case, for now.
you team looks like it could compete at a good level for div vi, but you might have trouble if you promoted to div v right now. so upgrades are what you need. and the best way to do that is making money from training.

also you might want to consider running your 3-4-3 the way you are, but with the other winger (someone with descent playmaking) played towards the middle and with the attack in the middle tactic. it will be predictable and your opponents could find a way to counter it, but it will help in most of your games.

your team will improve quick enough, dont worry about not winnning every game now. train 6 strikers. sell one at formidable and you will have enough money to buy 3 excellent veteren midfielders. your mid rating will jump.

After looking at my region, I cannot be demonted any further, so I believe I an just going to go with 3-4-3 all the way for at least one round of traniee sells.
