As we get closer to another offseason, here are the important dates and events that will happen in the next few weeks. I have been fine tuning this list for the last two seasons, so it should pretty accurate. That being said, if you see something that should be in there and that isn't, or something that is not right, please let me know and I'll fix my template...
Here we go!
2004-09-26 Sunday
* Last league game of season 23
* Right after game: money for topscorers is paid
* Right after game: opponents for qualifiers are known
2004-09-29 Wednesday
* Friendlies
2004-10-02 Saturday (or at weekly update depending on country)
* Prize money for league position is paid
* Membership fees from the supporters
* Medalions are distributed (for supporters)
2004-10-03 Sunday
* Qualification matches
* Bonus money for promotion
* 10% increase of supporters for teams that are promoted
* 10% decrease of supporters for teams that are relegated
* The league you will play in season 24 becomes official
2004-10-06 Wednesday
* Friendlies
* Cupdraw for round 1 is announced
2004-10-08 Friday
* Last day to do your pull for week 16 of season 23 (but will age in a few days). No youth pulls are permitted on Saturday to prevent confusion as to who will age and who won't
2004-10-09 Saturday (or at weekly update depending on country)
* Team spirit, team self confidence, supporters and sponsors are reset to normal values
2004-10-10 Sunday
* No matches at all
* First youth pulls of the new season are allowed 15 minutes prior to usual league game time. These youth pulls will not age until next season (16 weeks.
2004-10-11 Monday
* In the night from Sunday to Monday, players grow older, see their wages get adjusted and yellow/red cards are reset
* Youth pulls of the week don't age
* League fixtures are released (may be closer to Wednesday than Monday)
2004-10-13 Wednesday
* First cup round
* Friendlies for team not in the cup
2004-10-17 Sunday
* First league game for season 24
