View Full Version : Britney Gets Married.. Again
From http://et.tv.yahoo.com/newslink/index.html
ET has confirmed that BRITNEY SPEARS and her dancer fiancé KEVIN FEDERLINE tied the knot in a surprise Saturday night ceremony in Studio City, CA. The bride wore a white strapless dress and Kevin donned a tuxedo as the two exchanged vows during a non-denominational ceremony. Twenty to thirty guests were on-hand for the event, which took place at a private home. Afterwards, everyone dined on a feast of chicken fingers and ribs while music played from a boombox.
ET was there as the beaming bride left the house in the early hours of Sunday morning. A laughing Britney and her brand new husband departed the home in a black SUV. Marrying Federline makes Britney more than a new wife, she's also now step-mom to Federline's 2-year-old and newborn baby with "Moesha" actress SHAR JACKSON.

I don't know if feast is the right word for that.

You can't take the girl out of the trailer park...but you can't take the trailer park out of the girl. More true now than ever. Ribs and chicken fingers? A boom box!?!? UGH. Color me unimpressed. Her 15 minutes are long since over, and she's doing anything she can to cling despertly to them.

The guy deserves some credit, if nothing else he just hit the jackpott. His whole family, who I envision as living in mobile homes, with 2 brown teeth and think inbreeding is natural are shitting their pants that God answered their prayrs...

Oh yeah, no question he hit the financial jackpot. Hell, as busted as she looks these days, I'd marry Britney and suffer the ignominity of consumating the marriage for an entire year if I knew that in the coming divorce it would set up me and my family and several more generations down the line. And I personally don't find her AT ALL attractive anymore, so this isn't tongue-in-cheek.

I think the prenup is only 3 million if they divorced.

This is from the Yahoo article:
The couple exchanged rings and danced to Journey's "City by the Bay," the tabloid reported. Guests reportedly dined on chicken fingers, crab cakes, ribs, Waldorf salad.
You don't even need to be a Journey fan to know that's not right, do you?

3 million?? That's worth it. Plus the inevitable book deal...tv movie...etc. etc. He'd be set. Hell, three million dollars would more than take care of me and my family for the rest of all of our lives!

Nice to see the guy shaved and cleaned himself up for the event. A better timed event could have been his girlfriend giving birth on the day of his marriage.

Well she already gave birth, which was good, because his new child could be best man. :)

US weekly says this non-event was really a non-event. Furthermore People magazine paid 7 figures for exclusive pics, of the fake wedding.
