Help Editing 1970 Rosters

I just started playing FOF2004 and I'm trying to fix up the 1970 roster set (a lot of the ratings are off, Hall of Famers with a 0 or 1 overall rating) but I keep running into a problem where after a edit a handful of players or so and try to create a new league using that file, it crashing the game. I'm using FOF2004 Editor and it's happened a half-dozen times so far.

I also had once instance when I edited Herb Adderly and gave him an 8 overall rating and 3000 HOF points, and when I started a game to check the changes, it had a poor for his current rating and a string of numbers for his potential rating.

Any ideas of what's going on here?

That is really wierd. Did the rosters work originally before editing?

I had issues with that roster too....Kickers not being kickers and stuff...I tried editing but it didn't work...they still weren't kickers...somebody mentioned an updated roster, but I can't find it.

Does anybody have the CSV version of this roster set?.....I'd love that...much easier to fix.

The rosters worked fine at first and even worked find after editing a few players and testing them out. But I haven't been able to edit more than 8-10 before the game crashes when I try to test out the changes.
