Selling Strategy

Ok, as a few of you may have noticed my team has been relegated, and I'm taking the opportunity to rebuild some weak areas. I want to sell off some decent players, but I want to make sure I'm selling/buying at the proper time. When is the best time to buy/sell players, and the best time to buy/sell players in terms of time of season and time of day. Thanks a lot!

Time of day -- aim for a time when the most people possible are online. That usually ends up being around mid-day to early afternoon in the U.S., which gives you a nice overlap between folks in this country logging on from school/work and folks from overseas logging in from home in the evening.

Just Like Mr Wednesday said, mid-day Est is best time IMO. I always sell my guys around 12:00-2:00 PM EST.

it seems to me that prices are higher at the begining of the season rather than towards the end of the season. i think because more people have higher incomes from cup matches.

if you plan to sell and buy a replacement or upgrade in the same week, i would say it doesnt matter on the time of year. because if your sale is low because of the time of year, so will your purchase price of the replacement.
but if you plan to sell and wait 8 weeks or so to buy a replacement, i would sell at around week 2-3 of the season and purchase around week 12.
thats just a estimate from what i have noticed. i dont have any proof or documentation though.
