deleting the people lost posts thread would cause some kinda paradigm shift that would throw the world into a cataclismic destruction..

or would result in a people lost posts in the people lost posts thread, and i'm not ready to chance those odds :)

The NFL could potentially lose a lot of money if the sunday ticket package was available on cable. It undermines the broadcast monopoly (for lack of a better word) that CBS and FOX pay a lot of money for. The directv deal is far less lucrative for the league.

but i think in the long run they'd make more money with up to 2 times as many packages sold.. cause to be quite honest.. Direct-tv is unreliable at best...

literally their only selling point is sunday ticket.. which i could see why direct tv would be upset over losing exclusive rights.. but everyone else would win

Ill informed??? I stated an opinion that the NFL would go to pay-per-view in the next 3 years to maximize profits, and 2. That it was pure greed that forces local programming to cut off their broadcasts of NBA games on the radio, thus forcing people who want to listen their favorite team, go and PAY the NBA to LISTEN TO THE RADIO. The NFL has followed suit, now requiring most local radio stations to do the same.

In your opinion, that was stupid? Was that discussion so misguided, or is it everyone felt the need to bob and swallow Cthomer5000 because he has a high post count, so rather then post why everyone felt I was wrong, just play follow the leader and copy and paste what he wrote because its so much easier then going out on a limb and forming your own opinion.
I deleted the post because it turned into a me-vs-"the followers of Cthomer", everyone ignored the actual post and just decided to attack me....I am actually rather shocked, as I have read hundreds of posts and there seemed to be quite a few intelligent posters.....Or, at least I thought so yesterday.
I appoligize to the few members who actually can form a complete sentence and respond to the post. I was not out to "offend" anyone, it won't happen again.
