Just stats- and yes, I am undoubtedly a Bonds homer... :D

Here's what stood out for me- the Giants have scored 600 of their 787 runs in an inning when Bonds has come to the plate. Wow.

I posted all of those numbers in the old thread earlier today. Also, there are some good numbers from another article that I also posted.

Generally- I like the format- seems like the kinda debate you'd have with buddies. Im with them (or most of them) on the Giants-Dodgers being the better, less one sided rivalry- the best in baseball IMO.

My only problem with the Dodgers/Giants rivalry is that I don't really like, or really despise, either of them. With the Red Sox/Yankees, at least I hate the Yankees enough to want the Red Sox to win. As an objective observer, I can feel like I've got a stake in the BOS/NY rivalry, but that's not the case with LA/SF.

No, our favorite Beltre discussion thread. No argument this time, just the numbers...

I think the Yankees have always been baseball's team to hate- whatever rooting interest you may have- as a neutral observor, I would agree. as a Giants fan- I view the Dodgers as a plague on civilization. I would root for the Yanks over the Dodgers, any day,

The Yankees are the team to hate.

Bonds is the player to hate.

And Bonds may very well end up a Yankee.
