Can anyone tell me? I have been updating the 2004 roster file that I got from Hobbit, and I wanted to know if there is a way to change the excel format into an fdt extension?

My other option is if someone knows how to change a .csv file into an .fdt file if someone know how to do that.

I really could use the help. Once I have the file done I figured I would post it so that others could use it. I modified approximately 100 players from hobbits version.

I did a search but didn't find excatly what I think I need.

You use the player file generator program that came with FOF2k4. It will ask you what file you want to use, select the .csv file from hobbit and it will make it a fdt file. It has to be a csv file, so make sure you save it like that first.

Did you not read the original thread where Hobbit provided the file? I asked the same question and eventually answered it for myself in there. :)
