OT: iTunes not in Canada?

I don't know if I was under a rock the last year or so... but why isn't iTunes available to Canada? I bought an iPod (yes, I know there are more important things I could've spent that money on... but I wanted to spoil myself once. :D).

I was looking forward to checking out what free song of the week they offer, and it says I can't buy (and I don't see the free song) unless I was from U.S., U.K., and a couple of other countries.

Talk about a let down. :(

go to music store in itunes and you can find the free download on their home page. This week, a band from the twin cities that is N.E.R.D.'s backup band, Spymob.

i did hear that Canada was getting itunes sometime in the next 2 months. Before Christmas or Boxing Day I believe.
