Anyone know if all teams in the NFL have cheerleader squads? This came up in a discussion with a buddy of mine over lunch, earlier today, and he tells me there are some teams that don't have any cheerleading squads at all.

I always thought every team had one...

Go to nfl.com and you can see each team's official site from there and then you can see for yourself. I'm not certain if all teams do but I'm fairly certain the majority of them do.

Some teams don't. I think its mostly cold weather cities that don't have them. I'm almost certain the Bears don't have cheerleaders.

The Bills have 'em and it don't get much colder and windier than Buffalo in winter.

The IFL's St. Louis Cardinals have their own cheerleaders.

Yes. I agree. And I hate the Redskins...

One thing that annoys me. Has anyone else noticed that in every football game it seems that they will take the camera by all the cheerleaders in a closeup shot except for the black one? I've seen several games where they will actually stop and focus in on a blonde, when there is one more cheerleader they did not show in a closeup. Guess who? I enjoy looking at blonde girls, brunette girls, black girls... Hell, I just like looking at seriously fine ass! But show me all the sexyness!!!

No, they do not; there was talk of them getting some when the move to Ford Field occurred but, no dice yet.

The Steelers, sadly, do not have cheerleaders.

The Saints do, and I know/went to school with three of em. Never would have guessed any of them would have grown to be NFL cheerleaders either.

I saw one of them at Dulles airport about 6:30pm last night picking up some VIP for the game - looked absoutely stunning in the flesh (lots of it showing due to the very short skirt).

Lived nextdoor to a Redskins cheerleader for a short time. She was ok, but not spectacular looking.

Atlanta has them...as Head Cheerleader, I know this :)

Actually, they have a camp during the summer and I have seen some of them around...no Elle MacPherson, but definitely attractive girls.

Is it my imagination, or does the NFC North have no cheerleading squads at all whatsoever?

Doesn't Minnesota have some? Too bad they play in a dome. Cold weather and cheerleaders can be a good thing...

The vikings do..

A friend of mine was going to tryout for the Vikings cheerleader squad, and even gave Michael Bennett her name and phone number thinking it would help her chances, though ended up not doing it after some people convinced her she didn't have a chance because she had done no experience with things like dancing that she would need.

Off topic but to you since ur a minnesota fan like me...I dunno whether I like a bye week at this time. The twins are boring till playoffs cause we owned our division and clinched early...I guess I still have the gophers.

Indeed. It would of looked better in crayon. Although spending more than 5 minutes on it may have pushed me far into the "creepy" side of things.

With the injuries I think it comes at a good time for the team. They need to work out what they're going to do at tight end and work in Nat Dorsey, Claiborne and Henderson are going to most likely going to miss a game even with the bye week now, and giving Bennett and extra week to heal helps. Plus maybe with the extra week of practice between games the two CBs the Vikings signed can learn the system well enough to push Rushen Jones out of the dimeback position.

Yea...our defense needs to be improved if we are gunna look at being a contender. I know that we can put up offensive numbers specially once bennet gets back but we need more defense and less penalties...Also what do you think of the gophers, they got a chance?

The Big Ten as a whole is down this year, and without having to play Purdue or Ohio State they do have a shot. If they beat Penn State and Michigan the schedule is very favorable to them. They play Michigan State, Illinois, and Indiana in the next three games which should be very winnable. Then they play at Wisconsin which should be winnable, and they should be able to beat Iowa at home.

The two toughest games are obviously Michigan and Wisconsin on the road. If the defense can stay strong like they did against Northwestern they'll definitely have a shot, as the defensive performance in those two games will be key. Obviosly anything can happen, but I think the Gophers should be strong favorites in their other five games.

They show potential, but Pinnex and Russell haven't seen enough time to make much of a judgement on them.

Baltimore is actually the only NFL team to have male cheerleaders. One of my brothers (male) co-workers used to be on the squad.

The Steelers do not have cheerleaders. This team used to back in the day though, right? I did a search on google, and came up with "The Steelerettes" from the late 60s or so. Huh...

So I figure, Chicago, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, the Jets, the Giants all don't have any cheerleader squads. Is there a team missing that I didn't mention that does not have cheerleaders? Cleveland, maybe?

Have you seen the amount of hot chicks coming out of Green Bay colleges?

Shit, my wife graduated from UWGB. Sorry hun.

Yeah, and all that means is running out on the field with big flags, waiving them around in the corners of the end zone.
