So last Saturday was Unearth, Terror, Black Dahila Murder and Remembering Never. Terror let BDM go on third for their homecoming show, but whatever, I was there for Terror. I like Unearth a lot, but i've seen them four times already. I've seen Terror a lot too but they're just insane live so of ocurse I was jacked.

Remembering Never went first, did solid.

Terror was next and it got crazy quick. My first stage dive consisted of me being flipped and landed on the back on my head. Then as I got up another stage diver nailed me. It was amazing. I went up about ten times for Terror, and went home with a knee that was swollen twice the size of my other knee. I still have an aching shoulder, lumped head, cut above my eye, bruised hip, skin missing on my elbows. It was amazing.

We left post Terror, had our 12 bucks worth.

Tonight is the Dillinger Escape Plan, Every Time I Die, Zao, Misery Signals and Drowningman. DEP is by far one of the best technichal bands ever. If you like music, and don't mind screaming, pick up their new CD "Miss Machine". It's so deep and layered, I can't even describe it's awesomeness. Anyways, tonight will be much of the same. Lots of stage diving, more injuries, more fun.

But this isn't just for me, everyone feel free to post their own concert schedule, reviews of past shows, etc.

You suck. I haven't been to a concert - well, one I wanted to go to, so I'm not counting the Journey concert I took my wife to - since last June. No, not June 2004, June 2003. Porcupine Tree. I am going to see Queensryche at the end of the month, though.

June 2003. You are a lightweight. Try 1995.

Yeah, but I've been trying.

Just saw that Damageplan and Shadows Fall are coming here, but 4 days after QR. No way my wife lets me go to that one, especially on a Saturday night.

ok

I just saw Flogging Molly with the Street Dogs on Thursday night in Providence and on Friday night in Boston. They were amazing. I suggest you all check out Flogging Molly if you are into rowdy Irish music (see: Pogues) and I suggest you check out the Street Dogs if you are a fan of early Dropkick Murphys (as SD lead singer, Mike McColgan, was early DKM lead singer). I had a great time and drank myself silly. I'm still sore and my liver is still mad at me

Coming up I have Social Distortion in Hartford and in Providence. I am obsessed with good music, which is why i go see bands on back to back nights :)

The last concert I went to was Skinny Puppy several months ago. They kicked ass but the opening band (Tweeker) kind of sucked.

Boston music is nuts. The scene there (frankly, FSU, the gang) makes some shows just unreal from what I heard.

And Skinny Puppy is a crazy crazy band. Good to see those two reunited.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 4 2004

Dillinger Escape Plan (New Jersey)
Every Time I Die (New York)
Zao (Pennsylvania)
Misery Signals (New York)
Drowningman (Virgina)

Solid show. Dillinger shows why they're the best band in hardcore, and also the coolest. Even after their second bus broke down, they flew in with their own money, got to the show at 9:45 PM, got on stage at 9:55 and rocked St. Andrews out. Amazing show.

The coolest highlight was before ETID I played, they did the intro to Thunderstruck with fake crowd noise piped in, then broke into one of their more brutal songs, "Shes My Rushmore"

But if you want to try some amazing technichal music with unreal guitars and breakdowns, the Dillinger Escape Plan is it. They scream, and a lot of people don't like that, but as musicians, these guys are the real deal.

Next up, the Blood Brothers and Against Me! October 20th.
