I HATE Coors...not the beer...well, yes the beer too but what I really can't stand is their stupid commercials. "Cold hard fact..."

It's the same damn commercial every time! They may in fact have two or three different ones but DAMN, they run them every other commercial during every break! I am going to need some serious therapy before this is said and done.

Sorry to those who have read this drivel...I have grown tired of throwing my razor-bricks at the TV and really needed to vent! Thanks for reading...I will return you to your regularly scheduled Coors commercials...GGGrrrrr!!!

T

P.S. Like they would care, but, I will NEVER buy another Coors product again, EVER! All because of these commercials...God help me! Sorry again for the rant...I'll go back to my 'lurkin'.

I like Coors Light best among the cheap light beers.

funny how they say they deliver the beer in refrigerated trucks and all, but little Joe at the seven eleven stacks the cases in the back room, at room temperature :D

"The coldest beer" (until you drink any other beer at 32.1 degrees).

Those coldest beer commercials are really, really stupid. I  everytime I see them.

Mark Harmon called, he wants his spokesperson job back.

Are there really people out there who watch those commercials and say "My beer's not cold enough, so I gotta get me some Coors!"???

I guess that's what happens when you have a bunch of mass produced American beers that essentially taste the same. You have to distinguish your brand based on it's temperature.

If you want your beer colder, turn down the temp on your refrigerator, shithead!!

My hatred of Coors stems from them thinking that Killians is an Irish beer so they stopped importing Caffrey's to the US and Canada. Caffrey's being the best beer ever.

I used to live near a liquor store that had a huge sign in the window advertising "Coldest Beer In Town". I always thought that was pretty funny...

Blech, just the thought of Coors Original gives me a headache...

Didn't the Coors family or corporation give money to the KKK or Nazis or something? I think they support some nefarious organization(s). That plus crappy beer plus crappy ads. End of.

Bingo. Buy a better beer and it doesn't need to be ice cold to cover the cruddy taste.

I still don't think they manage to rival Miller for most annoying ad campaign. Miller managed to come up with 2 shitty campaigns in a row (president of beers, referees), of which I'm not sure which one is more annoying.

Plus Miller commercials seem to think the quantitated measure of a beers taste is more important than qualitative. :o

We keep Coors cold. Because we know you won't drink warm piss...

Coors sucks, they claim that they cold filter there beer because they care about their taste when everyone in the beer industry knows that heat pasterization keeps beers freshers for up to 90 days long because they do not need to be refrigerated immediately. Coors shitty beer has to to be refrigged immediately but Budweiser can go through the entrie shipping process with the beers at room temperature, saving their flavor.

I know this is a stupid peeve of mine but I hate the line in their commercials that say their beer is brewed at an icy cold 34 degrees. Ice at 34 degrees is called water!!!!!! I guess that's fitting for that piss-water they call beer.

Personally, I liked the commercials last year with the twins. I agree this year, Coors sucks.

Can we ban "rants" for a week or so? Just want to see what that would be like around here...

I'm doing a 'new product development' class this year.

The lecturer used to work for Phillip Morris and Coca Cola (nice, encourage kids to smoke and then encourage EVERYONE that they are sexier when drinking sugary drinks)

He was telling us about one 'concept' that things "from far away" are exotic and sell for higher prices.

As an example he used Bud. He said that in america its thought of as a cheap beer and thats about it.

Over here its <voice="american movie promo voice">Budweiser.. .king... of beers</voice>

and sells for up to a couple of quid a bottle (mibbe... 3.50 bucks)

The local brewery makes Tennants Lager, which IS thought of as cheap beer here. and Mostly only drunk when skint. He said that it sells as <voice = blah blah>Premium Scottish Lager</voice> over your side of the pond.

I don't like the campaign commercials for Miller, but I do like some of the ref commercials.

I think the best beer commercials ever were from Miller. The old nfl miller lite commercials (ie LC Greenwood and Burt Jones can crushing, Madden, etc) were classics. I also liked their "Dick" commericals (Evil Beaver, the stunt men). both of those series were far better than any others.

Yep, I remember when I was in Scotland this was the case. I was always told that Tennants is the Bud of Scotland. Now bring me Caffrey's and I'll be happy! :)

I liked the campaign commercials for a while. Traveshamockery is a great word.

But what I really liked was Bud's response ad, which was the 2 frogs discussing how Miller is actually not a true US company and was disqualified from the presidential race. I thought that was highly effective at slamming both the ads and the company.

I'd be curious to see how many people of legal drinking age make switching decisions based on their commercials. It seems like everyone I know buys either Bud or Miller Lite when they want an inexpensive non-micro beer and they always buy the same brand. Its like Coke or Pepsi drinkers.

I don't drink beer, so these commercials are either purely entertainment or an annoyance, depending on the commercial.

...and another thing;

I ignore most commercials...I even liked the "Wingman" commercials and the 'debate' commercials were fairly entertaining however, these damn Coors ads...

OH...and GMCs Sierra Z71 commercials, "If an M1 Tank can have a transmission, if a sailor can have a condom and an elephant can have a trunk... why can't your pickup."

Sorry, I swear, these are the only ones I will bring up...1)Coors & 2)GMC...

"Can you hear me now? Good!"

ArrrrrG!
