Tiger's $1.5 million wedding in Barbados (http://edition.cnn.com/2004/SPORT/10/06/tiger.marriage/)

Part of me gets the feeling the media is sitting at home hoping that this marriage fails. Because it'd give them lots to talk about.

I thought it'd be a little shameless to do a poll asking how long the marriage would last, because I hope they're happy and have lots of little Tigers and Tigresses.

I don't think of her as a gold-digger, because one figures that she could get really rich just showing her bod off, like she'd done previously. And using his notoriety, she could do even more. Seems like she's much happier just being cloistered in his web.

That and if Earl didn't think she was right, me thinks he'd ride Tiger about it.

I dunno...well, congrats to the #3 player in the world?

The guests included former U.S. basketball stars Michael Jordan and Charles Barclay, American talk-show host and media entrepreneur Oprah Winfrey and Microsoft founder Bill Gates.

Am I getting so old that Charles Barkley is now properly referred to as an American talk-show host, or is this just an understatement about how Hollywood sports has become?

Not sure if you're serious or not, but I think that was referring to Oprah.

D'oh!

Did he have her sign a pre-nup? I remember hearing somewheres that Tiger is reportly worth about $300 million.

I like Tiger but getting married at a golf course is kind of queer. Enough with the golf thing already Tiger. It's golf this, golf that. I'll kill him if he says he's broken par by finding his wife and it's clear sailing in the middle of the fairway from here on out.

Eh...Tiger does what he wants. I think that he likely got married at a great setting the course, the sunset, location (prolly high above the ocean). I know Bill Gates got married in Hawaii on a golf hole. It think its more of the location and backdrop more then the golf thing in why he got married.

Bill Gates getting married in cyberspace would have been the equivalent. Enough with the computers Billy.

Man, can't imagine the honeymoon if that happened.

Wonder if she'll change her last name.
