Ok gurus. I need help again. I have some questionable starters this week. Who would you start?

Start one QB:

Brett Farve against Tennessee.
Joey Harrington against Atlanta.

Farve is not 100%. Will he rebound after last week?

Start 2 RB:

Tomlinson is a shoe in.
Jamal Lewis if he plays and isn't suspended.

But if he is my second RB is between:

Domanick Davis (Q)
Tyrone Weatley (D)
Duce Staley (Q)

I also need 2 WR. Terrell Owens has a bye week.
I will start Reggie Wayne.

But my 2nd WR is between:

Terry Glenn, Andre Davis or Larry Fitzgerald.

Any help would be appreciated.

Start Favre in my opinion, the only reason he had subpar numbers against the giants was the concussion. With teams keying in on Ahman Green, the passing game is going to develop, especially with Javon Walker playing well lately.

As far as the RB situation, I'd say Davis is the man, simply because Staley has the Bus running in most of the short yardage TD's and racking up fantasy points.

The WR's are tough, because I don't offhand know who they are playing against, but Terry Glenn is a viable option, or you could hope that McCown decides to finally throw a TD and it goes to Fitzgerald.

There's my fantasy take, although in my league I'm currently 2-2.

My thoughts, for what they're worth:

Favre definitely.

RB situation is ugly due to injuries. If there's a healthy back you can pick up off waivers (Jonathan Wells maybe?), that would be the way to go. Otherwise, from what I've heard, Staley is the healthiest so I would go with him. But you should be fine with Jamal Lewis anyway, I don't think he's getting suspended until after Sunday.

I'd go with Terry Glenn even though it's not a great match-up, because the other WRs haven't shown much this year.

I recuse myself for offering any sort of Fantasy Football advice until my team in the FOFC sportsline league wins a game. I will also not cut my hair until we win two in a row.

Farve

LT
Lewis
Staley - the Brownies run D isn't very good and Staley will play. Expect him to get a TD this week and 80-100 yards.

As for WR, I'd go with Glenn

can I join your league?Just go to google.com and look for "2004 fantasy football with 2003 stats".

I'm more interested in knowing whether I should go with Ben Roethlisberger or go to the free market and hope that Jay Fiedler or Jon Kitna is sitting ready to be picked up.

I'd start Harrington, he and Rogers should be able to hook up a couple of times, and better than having Favre get knocked out of another game, hopefully.

RB's, I've read that even if Lewis is suspended, if he appeals, he'll still be fine to play this week, which is good, as it looks like Davis will probably play (but have a lot of touches taken away, which sucks as I have to start him in one of my leagues), Wheatley is out and unless Duce breaks from 30 yards out, he's not going to score (as has been covered).

As for WR, I'd go with Fitz, he's just waiting to bust out, and it would suck to have him on the bench when he does. That said, Glenn will probably be a more reliable 7 points (and hopefully a TD on top of that), but Fitz might just erupt.

That'd be awesome! If only Rogers wasn't on IR. :(

They've rigged some kind of cyberball thing that let's Rogers zoom up and down the field. He's been unstoppable in practice.

Yeah, I reckon he did.

Just think at the begining of the season, all the talk for the Lions was about the Big Four and how Harrington would have all these weapons. The Big Four are now the Big Two with Rogers on IR and Jones with a high ankle sprain likely to miss the next 2-3 games. Add that on top of injuries to the Lions best linebacker (Bailey) and their pro-bowl cornerback (Bly) and it just gets ridiculous. Every year it's the same... F*cking ridiculous.

Sorry, yeah, meant Williams, shouldn't be that hard to remember considering I've started him, Moss and Harrison at WR every week in one league. Would never have dreamed Harrison would be the low scorer of that group.

(to clarify, my rb's on that team do suck ;) )
