Continuing the recent trend of breeding FOFCers, I introduce Zachary William, born Oct. 12. 7 lb. 12 oz. Mommy and baby are doing fine and now possess co-ownership of this first time daddy's heart.

Congrats.

I also became a Daddy during the Great Drought of Aught Four, so let me add this:

I wish you sleep.

EDIT: And an end to visiting relatives.

Congrats to you as well.

Two nights ago, he slept from 10 p.m. until 8 a.m. We were shocked but happy for the chance to recharge. He's actually peaceful at night. He usually goes down around 10 or 11 and gets up twice around 2 and between 5-6 to feed. He quietly feeds for about 1/2 hour and falls right back into sleep. Save for about 3-4 hours of spread out naps, he's awake all day and alert and as active as a three week old can be. Knock on wood, he's not a very fussy baby. We got lucky.

Thanks to all for the well wishes. I was scared to death I would never get to announce this on FOFC as that's all I could think about for nine months. :D

Count the understatements in the second sentence. I see at least two whoppers, and maybe even three. ;)
