anyone else notice that the market still seems down? i figured it would have rebounded with all the cup income. i know in general it will be lower than in the past, but it still seems way down. i bought a 21 year old brilliant playmaker with excellent stanima and unpredictablity for 1.8 million. i was surprised he went so low. my defender sales seems average prices though, but it seems like a lot less bidders or people interested than before.

Poor understanding of economics by the HT's again. They upped all of our incomes by increasing ticket prices, but rather than wait and let those higher cash levels gently raise the market, they slapped us with a big downer in terms of the doubling of stadium building prices.
Not only has this caused many people to spend/save money for stadium expansion, it's raised the general uncertainty of the near-term future of the economy, so consumer confidence is down.
In other words, yeah, the market is still down.

good point, i forgot about the stadium price increase announcement. i bet that does have a lot more people saving.
i was saving to upgrade my stadium until i realized that i have trouble filling half my stadium now with the new "smarter" fans. i still havent decided what to do, but as long as i can buy cheap, im doing it. i would rather get a great deal on a player than upgrade my stadium that i wont be able to fill for a few seasons anyway. (and yes, i realize the construction costs are doubling, but i think im saving more money in the long run with players and i see an impact immediately)
I am saving for the end of season mandatory stadium upgrade, and I feel the market is at least stabilizing (and even going up again, at least fro playmakers with secondaries)
I train keepers and find that at this point I have to put them out there a couple times before people bite. Slightly lower prices then last season from what I've seen, so I'd agree with you, a little slow is what I see too.

i am seeing this as well. I'm at a point where i'm about to switch training programs using the money i'd get from selling my backup keeper. I didn't get any bites at 6.5 million for a supernatural. Just 2 seasons ago or so i pulled in over 8 million for a supernatural.

i dont really care, i sell my guys off 'cheaper' than expected, and buy other players 'cheaper' than expected... my goal is to make my team better, not have the fattest wallet 3 seasons from now....

Yeah fat wallets don't matter until your Div II or Major League. ;)

I think the losing the transfer compare has thrown the TL in a bit of confusion...as if people were allowing themselves to be driven by the comparison....it's just my opinion but i kinda had a few steals while it was down:P

true, but thats waaaay off for me, and besides the players those clubs are likely buying and selling arent really affecting the V's and IV's of the world (except of course trainees, but, anyways...)
