I play today the 5th round, never reached as many rounds but after defeating a Div V team last round, i play now vs a Div IV team (i'm in Div VI). Looking at his cup rattings i have a chance to beat him, just a small one. The problem is that i'm using the same guys in both cup and league for this two weeks, ruining my planed training schedulle. I'm thinking about playing it trying to win, or just PIC it, use my trainees and forget about the cup. The benefits of plassing to the following round are around 270k extra income and more experience, but also i'm not sure i can pass this one as his middle rattings are a bit better than mine (probably low inadecuate vs very high weak).
What is your advice?

EDIT: sorry for the thread title, of course i meant drop the cup not the up :)

Too late to help you now, but looking at the result, I hope you did play your trainees... :(

Nope, played the first team guys :(
I had the chance to beat him, my mid was superior but his right wing and central attack made the difference. Back to the league then, at least i have 1 Million to spend now in part thanks to the long cup run. Will look for better wingers/strikers.
