If I just received my team today...Wednesday...would it benefit me to play a friendly this week yet before training has started?

YES.
Well, provided you have some sort of training plan in mind with any potential trainees. Schedule one ASAP if you plan on doing this (it may be too late).
If not, it's probably not overly critical.
And if you don't have one for next week, I'll play ya if you like.

never hurts. it will probably help form and give you a tiny bit of cash.
regardless, i highly suggest you train stanima or set pieces then from having only 1 match this week. knowing how my team was when i first got it, i did stanima for the first few weeks. and stanima trains everyone regardless of whether they played or not.

Yeah it's letting me send out Challenges still...and I've received two already this morning...but the spot has been filled by the time I've been able to respond.

you'll still be able to send out challenges until gametime or about 15 minutes before gametime, as long as you challenge teams within the USA...

btw, welcome to the addiction :)

Thanks Frogman. I've already spent all day at work getting my team ready.

Ok...I had a challenge accepted. So if the game is scheduled for tomorrow...11/11...at what time will the game be played?

If it's a USA game, which I assume, it'll be at 1:00 am HT time, which is central Europe time I think, anyway, it's a 6 hours difference with USA Eastern time, so 7 eastern...

For future reference, since you're just starting out, only play at home or against teams in the USA (I see you are this week). If you go to other countries, it'll cost you $6K which is great if you can make it worth your while but just starting out, it's a big gamble and you'll probably lose what little money you have.
