I love the fact that a few old-timers like Jon, Dutch, Subby, and Quik still start non-FOF threads with "OT:."
No kidding. We're at the point where we should change the acronym to stand for "On-Topic," and just use it to label the threads that are actually FOF-related.

Y'know, that's probably one of the few things that can be said about that particular quartet at the same time :D

It took me awhile to shake that off too, although sometimes I think an OT in my topic titles sneaks in.

At the risk of repeating myself ...
Bah. Fucking. Humbug.
You try enduring one of my wife's "cleaning for the relatives" rampages, and see how much Christmas spirit YOU have left

Ugh... tell me about it. We're LEAVING for Christmas... and my wife has to have the house clean, because her mother is going to be stopping by from time to time while we're gone... and she doesn't want to leave it dirty for her.
As if preparing a family of four, including a pregnant wife, for a cross-country flight wasn't enough to keep me busy. Thank God I have to work today until 1:30, or I'd never be able to relax. ;)

I hear ya. That's one of the real downsides to working from home most of the time, no parole time. Over the past 10 years, I've gone from "never been real big on holidays" to "When oh when is this fucking misery going to be over".

Shit, my mom used to make us clean the house from top to bottom before we went on vacation so that we could come home to a clean house. I hated that...
The girlfriend's parents came over to our apartment for the first time today, so most of the past four days have been spent cleaning the bastard. You know, I don't think my toilet has ever been as clean as it is now. It would be a shame to take a dump in that beautiful piece of porcelain...
