Anyone seen the commercials and or trailers for this film? I saw the trailer right before i went to bed this morning and it creeped the hell out of me. Seems like they're going for a Blair Witch style marketing campaign even though its cleary a ficticious story but it's the first film in a long time that legitimatly creeped me out with the commerical.

And for those that dont know there is is a group of people that claim to use this Electronic Voice Phenomena to contact the dead. Im not sure if theres any substance to this stuff but Id rather not involve myself in anything of the sort.......

There was a band I worked with, who had a singer that was into that stuff. After the band did their album, he did a solo album with me. He used a sample of some evp stuff in one of his songs....

The sample was of 2 women entering this 'haunted place'. I don't know if it was a house or whatever. Anyway, you can hear the 2 women talking to each other...then you hear them asking questions to a 3rd 'person'. There is some noise of walking and quiet talking. All of the sudden, you hear one of the women ask 'who are you?'. Then, there is this voice, of a young child...but a little distorted: "leave me alooooone".

Shit was freaky to hear. What was worse was that I had to edit the sound file to fit in this breakdown of the song. So I had to listen to it over and over. I still can't listen to that song and hear that part.

this movie to me doesnt look freaky. if you want a creepy movie, go try and find audition.
