A scorching day at Sidekick Stadium, where 88295 spectators were in place for today´s match.

I had never had more than 67,520 before now and I already expanded to the 92,000 from 67,550 before the season started.

And holy crap: <TABLE cellSpacing=2 cellPadding=2 border=0><TBODY><TR><TD vAlign=top noWrap>12/20/2004</TD><TD vAlign=top></TD><TD vAlign=top>The team played a match. Spectator income amounted to 620 160 US$.</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

I just wonder if I should to expand to 100K or stay put?

I wouldn't. With the variables in attendance now, you could easily be pulling 20K after a few bad games. Check out some of the ML teams.

I agree, with the way attendance is I think you should wait off a little bit. It's my personal philosophy not to upgrade until you're selling out most of your games.

Before this season I would have said so, but with construction costs doubling this offseason and doubling again the season after, upgrading now is not always a bad option.

I am nowhere vex stadium, but I have a 60k stadium that did not sell out once this year (although sold out 3 times last season) but I am definitely upgrading to 80k (maybe 90k) just for the sake of saving future money. If I sell out 2-3 times, the investment will have paid off

You probably shouldn't, vex. Losing one match or one cupgame will ruin spectator numbers already, let alone playing someone else who just lost a few games. I think the only time you'd come close to selling out is playing #1 vs #2 who both have a winning streak and sunny weather.

You shouldn't expand. Right now you are a first place undefeated team in a weak IV series. If you promote you will struggle just to avoid relegation in III with the ratings you currently put up. Because of that, you can count on your attendance in III being substantially less than what it is now.

But he's already at 90K+ and his highest attendance still wasn't a sell-out. I don't see how a larger stadium than 90K really makes any sense unless they change the way attendance is calculated.

with the weighting on the back end of the season, attendance wise, you can't make assumptions based on the first half. If you expect to be in the top 3 at the turn next season, then you'll be in the same situation you are now, only have more supporters then than now.

I say up it by 10k-15k at the end of the season.
