Is amazing. Has anyone seen Ogden get beaten this often before ? The ESPN crew is usually full of hype, but I think they're correct on this one.

He might be the most consistently-quick off the ball defensive player I've ever seen. The guy came out of nowhere (for me at least) when he was drafted, but DAMN he is good.

He did? Wasn't he selected like 10th overall?

Courtney Brown was drafted 1st overall, and he's still no where.... so what's your point? :p

Who's Courtney Brown? :D

Oh, Coug just said, "The guy came out of nowhere (for me at least) when he was drafted, but DAMN he is good."

Just was wondering why he came out of nowhere, when he was drafted so high.

Well, he wasn't expected to go that high...and he wasn't one of the really hyped players.

Heck, I didn't have a clue who he was when he was drafted untill I seen him, and remembered him owning Mike Vick.

I'm pretty sure that Freeney broke the record for sacks in a season in his final year in college. (Which was then eclipsed by Terrell Suggs)

It's not a record that people watch all that closely - but he wasn't completely "out of nowhere." I think the knock on him as a prospect was that he'd be too small to play well against the run, and that's why many projected him to slide into the latter part of round one or even round two, despite the gaudy college numbers.

He was awesome in college, he just happened to play at Syracuse during some years when they weren't on the national radar so much. He was one of the most hyped guys if you followed the Big East, though.

Not to mention he's too small to beat a big tackle in the NFL, they will just out power him, and on grass his speed will be moot, making him virtually worthless

Suggs and Freeney...those two couldnt sack for shit in the pros...good thing no one follows this stat, as it looks like the two that held the record recently have busted big time ;)

Just when the tackle thinks he is going outside, he pulls off that sick spin to the inside. Ogden finally just started holding him every play. Freeney's motor never stops running, and it is awesome to watch.

As a Colt's fan, I was suprised when he was picked too. He kinda came out of nowhere for me too.

I agree the Colts tap him alittle high. But I had a feeling he would be good. He's just got a tremedous first step that allows him to get the passer. But he's a perfect match for the speed required in Dungy's scheme.
