Or are solid keepers dirt cheap...I saw two keepers at 4000 TSI threshold and both were hovering at 100k.

I managed to snag a freshly pulled youth (19) for I think 96k, solid, rated at around 3600 TSI.

Why am I buying such a fellow, well, my starting keeper (rated around 3600) is injured another two weeks, my backup is a passable (weak experience) that isn't cutting the mustard (especially since I face two big rivals at the home stretch).

I figured since I'm out of the series (at least a relegation qualifier, nothing more), I would try to bank on getting a few sellouts at the end...after needlessly thumping a psuedobot team, I play at home against a big rival I have yet to win against (losses and a tie)...I'm going MOTS against him so I can keep the momentum going (face a crappy team again next week away, PIC)...then face another monster team at home I could possibly MOTS (depending on whom I battle for relegation)...if I can't win, I'll PIC, and then pour it on in the qualifier...

My passable keeper will be sent out into the transfer wire, he's one of my oldest players...

Having two foreign solid keepers is probably heavy on the income but I gotta be competitve if I can't be winning.

Needless to say, (going off on a tangent)...I think solids are cheaper than I thought, I remember at the start of my career (those dismal Qwakers), that grab a passable for 100k...

You know what Quick, I think you are right. I remeber selling a couple in the 250k range, and now they are lower than that. In fact I am bidding on one as we speak.

Keeper prices have been dropping by quite a large amount over the past season and a half or so. A lot of it with solids depends on age and time of the season. Of course, it doesn't help that right now the HT's killed the market with that little increase in stadium construction costs note at the beginning of the season. It's not just keepers, I had a 17yo solid scorer that was unpredictable who sold for 79k. Now that's just disheartening.

Well, I just paid 274k for a solid. He was pulling 4 stars and has passable exp.

He looks a lot like Timber. But he's the backup for the Hippos and future coach after his great career as a starter (and passable leadership to go along with passable experience).

Does stamina mean anything for keepers?

Currently embroiled in a bidding war for my future coach.

Closing in on 400k for a 25yr old solid scorer who is passable/solid

Sold to me for 387k. A bit more than I thought, but so damn hard to find. And I had no good prospects for coach on my squad. Certainly worth the money I think. Now to grab another winger.
